With both teams coming off big games the night before, the Walton County Braves came away with a 37-33 win over the South Walton Seahawks at the Hawks Nest Tuesday night in Santa Rosa Beach. South Walton lost by two points on the road Monday at Fort Walton Beach, while the Braves won in overtime at home against Crestview. On Tuesday, Walton County attempted the 3-pointer on several occasions in the second half as did the Seahawks, with many bouncing off the rim. “I think both teams were struggling a little bit with their legs,” said Walton County Coach Brad West. “And shooting the three, if you don’t have your legs you’re not going to make many of them.” On Monday night, Walton’s Haleigh Graham lit up the score board with 51 points.
